WHAT WE DO

An independent, secular charity supporting activities aimed at humanitarian work and is wholly run by volunteers.
Cancer Wellness Limited is registered as a charity with the Ministry of Heath since March 2013.

Initiatives of the charity include:

Training befrienders and sending them to hospices, community hospitals and homes for the aged sick to befriend cancer survivors and patients with terminal sicknesses.

Raising funds for patients currently staying in hospices, community hospitals and homes for the aged sick but face financial difficulties and are not able to continue their stay. The fund provides financial assistance to these patients and help prolong their stay where there is proper care and facilities.

It's not how much you give but how much love you put into giving

A Day As A Befriender

Our befriender benefits much from making friends out of their usual circle. Interacting with the elderly and patients, listening to their stories, receiving valuable experiences that enrich our lives.

Hope to have this (training) session again. Quite fun and can learn a lot of positive things. Had learnt quite a number of things.

It was quite fun as we get to interact with many people from all walks of life. There was a aerobic exercise session where we get to do some exercise for a good 30mins. This not only keep us healthy but also to mingle with the neighbour people. The fellow volunteers are very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the experience very much.
